Diapers made with loving care....by a robot! Not!

Just had to share that I came across this video on How Disposable Diapers are made. All that kept going through my mind was the thought that at least all cloth diapers are still made by hand. Some may be made in a larger sew shop but at least people are still employed to do the job and in most cases our modern cloth diapers are still being sewn by fellow moms.

This video just gives you that inside peek at all the plastic and polymer that go into the disposable diapers and a glimpse at how much energy is really consumed in their production.

I have to admit, I've always been facsinated by just HOW much machines are able to do. But that is WAY too much energy put into making something that is just getting thrown away! Buy 20 - 30 OS cloth diapers (for ex.) for every baby in the US (or the world for that matter) and holy cow...that would save a TON of energy!!! Especially if all those cloth diapers are made by hand! Thank you for this post!
