Support The Cloth Diaper Foundation! Participate in their Dozens Diaper Drive!

Did you know the Cloth Diaper Foundation relies on donors and sponsors like you to keep their doors open?  They are currently super low on diapers and need our help.

The Dozens Diaper Drive is aiming at a goal of 1200 diapers.   TCDF sends out diapers to their recipients by the dozen and they'd like to have enough diapers for 100 recipients on hand before they open back up for applications.

According to their ticker located here, they're up to 236 of 1200 diapers collected.  Their goal is to have reached the 1200 diapers by the end of September.

For more info on where to send your diaper donations, what they do and do not accept, and how to obtain a receipt for tax purposes please visit the Dozens Diaper Drive website.

Can't afford to send in your diapers?  Visit the Cloth Diaper Foundation Website and see if there's a drop-off location near you where you can turn in your diapers.  The drop-off sponsor is responsible for sending in the donated diapers.

Don't have any diapers to send?  Monetary donations are also very helpful.  Click HERE to make a monetary donation.

Sponsorship:  For each 60 diapers donated, one recipient's package will be sponsored (no shipping costs to them), and an additional 6 diapers will be sent to the sponsored recipient. If you believe we can exceed this goal, and you would like to participate as a sponsor, please click here.

The Cloth Diaper Foundation needs us! Read about all the different ways you can help.

Remember The Cloth Diaper Foundation, formerly known as Miracle Diapers?  Well they are in desperate need of help from the cloth diapering community.

Due to a serious lack of funding The Cloth Diaper Foundation has recently been considering the possibility that they might have to close their doors indefinitely.  As with most non-profits, The Cloth Diaper Foundation relies on donations of diapers and monetary help in order to stay in business.  They need approximately $300.00 coming in per month in order to stay open.  They have currently been averaging less than $20.00 per month.

This is very sad, TCDF has come a long way and helped many many moms and families over the years and now it's our turn to help them.

What can you do to help?

  • Donate!  Donate any amount, even as little as $1.00 by clicking HERE and following the instructions on how to send a gift through paypal.  Your donations help keep TCDF running and help families in need get the cloth diaper loans they apply for.
  • Have a fundraiser!  You could host an auction, designate an item/items to sell and give the proceeds to TCDF.  Have a local yardsale, car wash, bake sale, sell stuff on Craigslist and more!
  • Donate diapers.  Visit TCDF, view their Drop-off Locations and find one near you.  Contact the location and make arrangements to get them your diapers.  They'll take care of shipping the diapers for you in the most economical manner possible.

  • Buy from TCDF!  Did you know that they have a store?  Spend your money wisely and shop with them, your funds will be going to a good cause and you'll also be getting your shopping fix!  Click HERE to shop in the TCDF store.
  • Become a Sponsor or Member!  TCDF Family Memberships are only $15.00 and Business Memberships start at just $50.00!  Get free advertising and support a good cause.
Aside from these great ways you can help out, visit The Cloth Diaper Foundation Facebook Page and view their Wall.  Make sure you're viewing all the posts from TCDF and others so that you can see all the posts with tons of other great ways you can help.  Many retailers and friends of TCDF are having giveaways, auctions and more!

Mircale Diapers is now....The Cloth Diaper Foundation!

~Breaking News~

Many of you are familiar with Miracle Diapers and all the fabulous work they've done assisting families in need. Well now Miracle Diapers will be known as The Cloth Diaper Foundation!

As Miracle Diapers has grown so has the number of families they assist. In 2009, they helped over 450 babies directly, more than 100 babies through sponsorship and local distribution, and assisted other charities with the same mission as well!

To better serve those families Miracle Diapers reaccessed it's structure and practices.

They have:

New leadership with Roxanna Jolly—CEO and Lisa Johnston—Operations Manager and Board Chair

Relocated their headquarters to Katy, Texas

Restructured how they process and accept applications

Opened a retail store for fundraising

Founded a new membership program

Welcomed several new board members from the cloth diapering industry.

In it's fifth year Miracle Diapers wants to continue moving forward and has decided to take on a new name that better describes the organization and it's mission.

Miracle Diapers is now The Cloth Diaper Foundation.

We felt that a more appropriate name would help the community have a better understanding of who we are, as we have often been mistaken for a diaper manufacturer. Our desire to move forward and build a legacy of support for the cloth diapering community will be reflected in our new name: The Cloth Diaper Foundation.

-Roxanna Jolly, CEO, The Cloth Diaper Foundation

Monetary donations fell last year do to the economy. Which means there are more families out there for The Cloth Diaper Foundation to help! While diaper donations are always appreciated, we must be able to financially support organizational growth. Let's make this happen together and spread the CD love. Visit http://clothdiaperfoundation.org today to find out how you can help!

Special Offer:
To assist in fund raising efforts, in the month of February, Tracy Whittemore and Lisa Adkins from The Cloth Diaper Company have so graciously offered to match, product for product, each Cloth Diaper Company product sold (Drybees, Wahmies, Rocky Mountain Diapers) in The Cloth Diaper Foundation Retail Store with an equal donation to our organization. (Example - Purchase a Rocky Mountain Diapers OS Pocket, CDC will donate our organization a RMD OS Pocket, Drybees for Drybees, etc.)
