I like the ease of use the most, just lay it in and go! I'm sorry these weren't around when we started building our stash a year ago!

I used prefolds from around 3 weeks to 3 months of age on my little one. Now I have a couple of gro-babys, which are technically ai2s, I guess, but I consider them a prefold system. meeces dot pieces at gmail dot com

I have not used prefolds because I have all bum genius right now. I'm willing to try the others though.

I like the economical price. I really want to get into cloth diapering, but the price is very intimidating. I think this system would be a good way to get started! iambready@gmail.com

I don't currently use prefolds, but I am slowly gathering my stash together to begin using them. iambready@Gmail.com

i love budgeting, and Econobum offers that. It is affordable and comes in starter kit which is in onesize covers and prefold. I didn't have to buy separately.

Lynn Nasir said...

I used prefold for night time, with diaper cover. Despite being a bit bulky when used, it will dry faster after washing.

Nichole said...

I like that they do not require a cover and are easy to use. I also like that they are made by Bum Genius. All I currently use are 3.0's and would love to try something new!

I like the price! C'mon that's a really good deal for a prefold and cover that will last for so long.

The thing I like most about the new Econobum System is that it's a simple, affortable one size cover.

Unknown said...

Half of my stash is prefolds and half is pockets. I love how easy prefolds are to clean and that they are so durable.

Tracey said...

What I like most about the Econobum is the simplicity. Just fold and cover! No pins, no snappis. I also like the drying factor. They won't take forever to dry like other cloth diapers.

AEK said...

I like the fact that both the cover and the prefold are both one size.

I do already use prefolds because they are cheaper and fit my baby well.

Attila & Tamara said...

I do use prefolds occasionally with fleece and wool covers. I love that I can change out the prefold without washing the cover. I also use them to stuff my pockets in a pinch.
I only have cheap prefolds which is why I don't use them more often.

I can't tell you what I like most about the new Econobum system because I've never tried it, but I'm eager to find out!!!

Beccalynn said...

I do not use prefolds. I enjoy using all in one pocket diapers because I used prefolds for my little siblings when I was younger and I remember them being a hassle. I love that cloth diapers have changed and I don't have to deal with prefolds and pins anymore.

I like that the econobum system is one size. I am currently using prefolds and covers but I know I will have to buy new covers when my baby gets bigger. This new system would solve that.

I use prefolds because they are cheaper than pocket diapers/ AIO. I didn't think that I would like using prefolds, but I actually do!

I like the convenience of one size diapering and the flexibility of cloth or paper inserts.

I am eager to try prefolds along with all the other diaper types I picked up for my LO due in January. Though I admit I'm skeptical I hope they work well!

I like that you don't need an extra cover and that you don't have to stuff! Ok, that's two favourite things!

I have some prefolds that I plan on using when my baby is born because they are cheaper than AIO's, etc, and also because they seem to be easier to care for with less crazy instructions.

luvdeternally said...

I like the idea of the Econobum onesize cover and prefold because I have found prefolds easier to keep clean and it's nice not to have to go out and buy more every few months.

luvdeternally said...

Part of my stash are prefolds because they are easier to keep clean and they hold everything in well. (with the right cover :-)

Well we haven't used any CD yet... Planning on it with our next. SO, seeing as how we're going to need to purchase a stash, I love the affordability of it as well as it being one-size!

I don't use prefolds since we aren't CDing yet... But plan to try them when we do!

lsnellings said...

I use prefolds almost exclusively with my 6 month old! They are so easy and those suckers are super absorbent. Fabulous for overnight!

I like the one size cover. We started in prefolds and this would have saved us a lot of money! It is about time to purchase some large size covers... or econobums so we can use them next time around too! :o)

Unknown said...

We started with prefolds, pins and covers when my son was just 2 weeks old. We still have infant and small prefolds, but only 2 in the toddler size. They are our trusty stand-bys, especially at night.

I used prefolds until my daughter was about 4 months old then we switched to pockets.

I LOVE pf. I bought them orginally to bulk up our stash b/c they are the most economical, but ended up loving them more then I thought I would. They are simple with a trifold or a jellyroll and snappi and they clean and dry so well.

lauren said...

We use prefolds for our 2 yo and 9 month old and we chose prefolds b/c they were the most economical choice.

I am due in April and am super excited about cloth diapering. I am trying to gather a variety of different diapers so that I can find what I think will work best for my family

Melanie said...

I have not tried prefolds yet because well...I am new to cloth diapers and am scared. So far I have ventured into the one size pockets and finding the fit isnt all that great so I am open to new things!

♥Yaya's Mommy ♥ said...

I love that they are environmentally friendly and that the one-size cover and prefold adjusts as the grow. I have never used them before, but think it would be a great eco-friendly start. :)

Anonymous said...

I don't use any prefolds right now. I did use cotton prefolds when my son was younger, but then I discovered other materials that absorbed better.

teriannek said...

I haven't used them much, but I think the ones I have are too small, and that's probably why.

The Baldree Family said...

I love the price and it is cool that it is a os prefold...I havent ever heard of that actually... I wonder if it is bulky though. I would love to try these!!!

Stacy Whalen said...

I use prefolds sometimes because they are the basics...cotton is great! And did I say simple?

Crystal said...

I love the cover. Its so trim and the price is great for OS cover alone, let alone a PF with it.

Anonymous said...

Prefolds are the most economical way to go. I love pocket and aio diapers, but after a year of use, those tend to show serious wear. I have been able to get several years use for mutiple babies out of plain old covers and prefolds.

jdeemarie said...

I like the fact that the cover is one-size. Other one-size covers just didn't fit right on my son. Since BunGenius is one of the only one-size diapers that work for us, I'm hopeful that the Econobum will have a similar fit.

jdeemarie said...

I use almost exclusively prefolds. They are fast and easy- no stuffing, no special washing/drying instructions, and I can always get a great fit. It's also nice that they are so cost-effective.

Julie said...

I apologize if you commented and it is not seen here. I accidentally rejected a batch of approx. 6 comments. :( You will have to re-enter. Thanks!

Jes said...

I like this because you don't have to spend time stuffing the diapers. I also love snaps way more than velcro.

lil misses' mama said...

I don't use prefolds yet, but I would like to experiment with them once our second daughter arrives in a few weeks. We've been using pocket diapers for our 20-month old.

Megan said...

I already use prefolds because they seemed like the simplest, least expensive diapers- plus we got them as a gift from an experienced cloth diaper mama.

Heather said...

Seems like it is so easy, with few pieces and can be used long term!

Nichol said...

I use prefolds in covers and as inserts in my pockets. goldenleo816@aol.com

petersonmutts said...

I would say the thing I like best is the price, and that they are by bumGenius.

Marie said...

Answering Question: I have just gotten interested in using cloth diapers. We have prefolds at home that we currently use for everything BUT diapering. I am planning on using them as extra absorbers in the cloth diapers I ordered.

Erin Mccarley said...

I like that Econobums are made by the same people as bumgenius. I love my OS 3.0's and would try their new line.

Erin Mccarley said...

My little one is a month and a half old and we have used prefolds with her since birth. As we all know how often newborns need changed it seemed like the most economical way to go to start out.
