Why is wool so popular as a diaper cover? and how does it work?
Wool is a naturally waterproof fiber and can hold up to 30% of it's weight in liquid before feeling damp to the touch. It is a tough, durable, stretchy, and naturally anti-microbial and anti-bacterial it is the natures perfect solution for a diaper cover.

I have a question regarding wool. Is it hard to take care of? I love the look of the wool covers but I am intimidated by the care of them.
IMO wool is easyer than all others. you only have the wash it once a month or when soiled. Lanolizing them is easyer than you think. I went to you tube and there are some great videos showing you how.
wool is really easy to care for!
Yes, its washing when soiled or after something like 12 wears.
I was so surprised myself that it "lost" the stink after some airing. I was thinking of switching over to a fleece cover, but decided not to now. Since it would involve more washing!
